MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
The global economic crisis has left its imprint not only on the world economy, but also on the credibility of neoclassical economics. Taking advantage of the historical chance behavioral economics was actively involved in the debate about the need for change in economic models and proved itself as a reasonable corrective to the orthodox theory. With the increasing dynamics and complexity of economic processes it can solve many of contemporary and probably feature issues. For that purpose, behavioral economics needs further development by consolidation, focus on economic issues and formalization of its core ideas and models.
