Night Lights Data and QGis: Approximating rural-urban income gap

Abstract: This document provides tools that can help exploit the night lights data provided by satellites imageries from outer space. Actually, night lights intensity has been proposed as good proxies for the economic activities. Here we try to capture the difference of income between the most populated locations and the remaining area in every country.
