Анализ перспектив и рыночных ожиданий в индустрии морского транспорта
Analysis of prospects and market expectations in the maritime transport industry
Mikhail Filkin
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of market value phenomena and the financial condition of global shipping companies. The stock market reflects investors' expectations of lower revenues and future cost increases for the industry's largest publicly traded companies. At the same time, the consequences of COVID-19 epidemic led to increased industry revenues in 2021-2022, which gives maritime transportation companies an opportunity to modernize their fleets and introduce new technological solutions that reduce environmental impact.
