Andrianady Josue
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
This study examines the determinants of inflation in Madagascar using an ARDL model and World Bank data. The results highlight several key factors, including economic growth, fluctuations in oil prices, import dependency, and exchange rate variations, which contribute to inflation in the country. To mitigate inflation, consistent economic policies focusing on promoting balanced growth, economic diversification, and prudent management of external factors are recommended.
