Industry Growth Opportunities: A technical report to support the Western Parkland City Economic Development Strategy

Abstract: This report provides technical input to support the Western Parkland City Economic Development Strategy being prepared by the New South Wales Government and the Western Parkland City Authority. It complements the region’s broader economic development strategy. The report accounts for the region’s comparative economic advantages and examines industry supply-side and demand-side drivers of change which are associated with opportunity and risk. The aim is to grow existing industries and develop new industries which generate sustained growth in jobs, salaries and inclusive wealth within the Western Parkland City. There is a focus on growth opportunities associated with science and technology.
