Accounting and financial business indicators and their use in internal and external analyses

Abstract: Serbian. У раду се разматра коришћење књиговодствено-финансијских показатеља пословања за аналитичке сврхе, како у интерним анализама, у оквиру предузећа, тако и у екстерним. У потоњем случају они се користе за компаративна сагледавања на нивоу одређених привредних целина (грана) или пак целе привреде. Након дефинисања показатеља и указивања на њихову теоретску класификацију, одабран је један од могућих скупова, који чини петнаест оваквих показатеља. На основу њиховог обрачуна за 1992. и 1994. годину дата је анализа пословања привреде Србије по својинским секторима, привредним областима и индустријским гранама. English. The paper discusses the use of accounting and financial business indicators for analytical purposes, both in internal analyses, within the company, and in external ones. In the latter case, they are used for comparative analysis at the level of certain economic entities (branches) or the entire economy. After defining the indicators and indicating their theoretical classification, one of the possible sets was selected, which consists of fifteen such indicators. Based on their calculations for 1992 and 1994, an analysis of the Serbian economy by ownership sectors, economic divisions and industrial branches was given.
