Regulación laboral y mercado de trabajo: principales desafíos para Bolivia

Labor Regulation and the Labor Market: Main Challenges for Bolivia

Beatriz Muriel Hernández and Rubén Ferrufino Goitia

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyze the link between the labor market and labor regulation, with the aim of contributing—through an academic and technical approach—to the debate on the scope and limitations of the General Labor Law, enacted in 1942, along with related regulations. Based on this analysis, the study suggests some policy and conceptual changes that could be considered in the drafting of a new general labor law to govern the relationship between workers and employers.
