Abstract:
This paper aims at determining the economic value of historical neighborhood of Jolan in Hamadan city in Iran. The research method is an applied study and a descriptive-analytical argument. The statistical population is tourists in the historical neighborhood of Jolan, which was surveyed from 347 people randomly by questionnaire. We examined the determinants and their impact on various payment willingness using four models and multi-level ordered logistics method. The results show that the stated willingness to one time payment is 40 thousand Tomans and the willingness to annually payment, as well as willingness to protect and prevent its destruction as a per capita tax are 24 thousand Tomans. Also, interest in visiting historical neighborhoods, education, and employment are the most important factors that can be considered. The results of the conditional one time payment model show that education, interest, and number of annual visits are factors that have influenced the approval or rejection of the specified limit (35,000 Tomans).
