Abstract:
Obtaining a high rate of economic growth and sustainability is one of the main aims of any economic system which is the focus of economic policy makers in all countries. To this aim, one needs to identify the obstacles and limitations of development, since the strategy of development happens when the obstacles are recognized and decisions are made to overcome them. One of the main problems of economic growth is financing. The economic model suggested in the current study consists of financing variable of 15 selected countries in the MENA region. The period investigated ranged from 2003 to 2016, and the method employed was GMM (Dynamic Panel Data). The findings show that financing had a positive impact on the economic growth of the countries, and the development of this variable can lead to economic growth.
