It also explores the mechanism which the bank promotes private sector development, the insurance of investment and granting export credit. The study discusses the Bank’s initiative approach to financing infrastructural projects. By mapping the functions of the banks’ group, the paper aims to provide scholars and practitioners an insight on how these institutions contribute to sustainable development.
