Kantian Altruism in Economics and Ibn Khaldun

Abstract: In this article, the concept of Kantian Altruism in the writings of Ibn Khaldun is examined. Government efficiency improves when Kantian Altruism becomes the characteristic of public decision makers. It is also argued that Kantian Altruism coincides with the altruism in the writings of Ibn Khaldun.
