Crise e Território no Pensamento Econômico
Crisis and Territory in Economic Thought
Luiz Eduardo Simões de Souza
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
One of the thematic branches which had motivated the consolidation of XVIIIth Century´s Economic Thought was the economic crisis itself. The majority of the earlier economists exposed their ideas in a context which could be understood as a running crisis, or an upcoming crisis (as David Ricardo, with his “steady state” or Thomas Malthus, with his “population dilemma”), or proposing ways to avoid it.
