Wymiary europeizacji i jej kontekst
The dimensions of Europeanisation and its context
Krzysztof Wach ()
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
European Union, Europeanization or Europeanism are currently ones of the most popular phrases used in different titles of different elaborations, both scientific papers and popular magazines. At times there are used equivalently, while their meanings differ. The paper focuses on three main streams. First of all the author tries to describe the conception of Europeanization, its nature, types and spheres. Secondly, the paper elaborates on dimensions of Europeanization. The author tries to draw up eight dimensions of the above mentioned process of Europeanization. Last, but not least the context of Europeanization is discussed. The author tries to point up some dependencies between such process as globalization, integration, regionalism, Europeanism, European Single Market on one hand and Europeanization on the another one. Studying the literature of the subject is the main research method used in the paper. On that basis the conclusions and recommendations in the field of defining the Europeanization process and its dimensions are drawn up.
