An Analysis of Business Environment in Different Theories of Organisation and Management

Abstract: In the history of management thought the conceptions of environment have very often changed. In different periods of history and different scientific schools of organization and management scientists has ascribed to the business environment different role and importance. The paper is a kind of synthetic review of opinions on the importance and essence of the business environment. The author chose a couple of selected outlooks and schools, which have had and even still have the crucial impact on the role and position of business environment.
