Abstract: This article aims to determine the level of innovativeness of Polish economy in comparison with other EU countries. The author has examined in detail the methodology and results of the European innovation survey - the Innovation Scorebord for the years 2005-2007. Analysis, given the level and dynamics of 25 innovation indicators, grouped in five categories.
