Il ricupero della dimensione sociale del lavoro in Napoleoni e in Marx
The recovery of the social dimension of labour in Napoleoni and in Marx
Duccio Cavalieri
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
The purpose of the paper is to analyze Claudio Napoleoni's opinions on the epistemic status of labour and work in Marxian thought. Particular attention is paid to illustrate the position taken by Napoleoni as regards Lucio Colletti's idea of an identity of abstract labour and alienated labour in Marx. The author's opinion is that Napoleoni's views on this question - and, more generally, on the Marxian concept of workers' separation from the objective conditions of production - have not been correctly understood by some recent Neomarxist interpreters. The article seeks to find the reasons for this and to clarify the various and different meanings given by Napoleoni to the Marxian concepts of labour abstraction, alienation and exploitation, in the course of his problematic and painful research path.
