Analysis of Polish conveyor belts' market

Abstract: Estimates of the length of the conveyor belts or conveyors in some industries have already been published, e.g. [1,4]. The data contained therein, however, are fragmented and outdated. The first comprehensive marketing analysis of conveyor belts’ market in Poland were carried out in Master Thesis work written in the Faculty of Mining at Wroclaw University of Technology [5]. This paper presents some of the results of the estimation of the length of the installed belts in various industries using belt transport, the size of conveyor belts market in the length and area dimensions, and the value of belts sold annually in Poland. Szacunki dotyczące długości taśm lub przenośników w niektórych branżach były już publikowane, np. [1,4]. Dane tam zawarte są jednak fragmentaryczne i zdezaktualizowane. Pierwszą kompleksową marketingową analizą rynku taśm przenośnikowych w Polsce przeprowadzono w pracy magistareskiej na Wydziale Górniczym Politechniki Wrocławskiej [5]. Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje niektóre jej wyniki dotyczące oszacowania długości zainstalowanych taśm w różnych branżach wykorzystujących transport taśmowy, wielkości rynku taśm przenośnikowych w wymiarze długości i powierzchni oraz wartości sprzedawanych w Polsce taśm w ciągu roku.
