Abstract:
This article presents the barriers hindering the expansion of the Polish e-shops on the foreign markets. This part focuses on issues related to discrepancies between provisions regulating the internet sales in different countries and logistics barriers in international trade. It concentrates also on the restrictions on software support for multiple languages, currencies and payment methods. The following chapter explains how many of the seemingly non-essential aspects of foreign sales have impact on its success. The authors emphasize the importance of being aware what the benefits from sales on foreign markets might be.
