Assessment of financial convergence of Ukraine with the CIS countries and the European Union

Abstract: The article evaluates the financial convergence criteria of Ukraine with the major countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States: Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. It also studies the criteria of financial convergence of Ukraine with its main trading partners in Europe: the Eurozone, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Using the results of the comparative analysis the conclusion has been made that Ukraine has a bigger financial convergence with the CIS countries.
