Abstract:
It can be seen that there are disparities in economic growth between different areas of Europe. It is revealed that the least developed regions were in the most distant countries, at the periphery of Europe. To minimize the disparities between North and South Europe, a strategy that could be adopted is that of creating a pole of development in the South European, by strengthening existing important activities such as the freight transport by sea between Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal.
