Pakistan Economy DSGE Model with Informality-The Empirics of Calibration

Waqas Ahmed

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: This paper serves as an empirics guide to the "Pakistan Economy DSGE Model with Informality" paper by Ahmed, et al. (2012) covering the empirical aspects regarding calibration of both the model and shocks related parameters. We have tried to focus as much as possible on micro level empirical data where ever possible in order to calibrate the parameters. We have made use of international literature for pinning down of certain parameters where the empirical and national literature exhausted.
