Abstract:
The paper offers an overview about the latest developments in international cooperation for prudential supervision, describing the main tools and modalities. It also contains a specific section dedicated to cooperation in the EU where it is conducted a critical analysis of the Lamfalussy method. The final section make a review of existing arrangements on international banking crisis prevention and resolution.
