Dualismo e declino nel territorio italiano. Il ruolo delle competenze
Dualism and Decline across the Italian Economy. The Role of Skills
Sergio Destefanis
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
Relying mainly on the use of the "OECD Diagnostic Tool", we highlight the skill demand-supply imbalances existing across the Italian territory, as well as some of their determinants. Having clarified that the promotion of the matching between skill demand and supply is an essential element of any skill-development policy, we present some best practices in this field. Particular attention is paid to one-stop shops in public employment services, to some experiences of local concertation, and to some initiatives geared to the balanced growth of skill demand and supply.
