Abstract:
The informal sector is one of the most problematical of the economical information system in general and on the labor market in particular. By its definition and nature, this sector is quantifiable with difficulty ; yet statiscally, some elements of information can be built on the informal sector. We intend to list all the data produced by the Algerian statistical system about this sector with a critical reading on each of them through the sources and methods of evaluation wich are used. We will try to clear the dynamics of the sector on the last twenty years regarding employment for it is the aspect that was most studied.
