Abstract:
Abstract Through a panel model, we studied the characteristics of the inflation targeting policy for a group of 15 developing countries. The data estimation shows that sensibility of monetary policy on inflation declined during the post-inflation targeting, without any detrimental effects on economic growth. Further uncertainty was reduced immediately after the adoption.
