Readiness to Join Contractual Savings for Housing Program: Regression Analysis Based on Krasnodar City Household Survey

Abstract: This paper presents regression analysis of data from the survey of Krasnodar city households (2011) on their readiness to join contractual savings for housing program. Major determinants of household's decision to join the program or not, size of monthly mortgage payment, time of joining the program and the period of accumulating money on housing account are identified. Forecasts of the number of program participants and their time of joining the program are given.
