Abstract: “室谓夫妇所居，家谓一门之内”（朱熹：《诗集传》）以及“孝于亲，所当执”（王应麟：《三字经》）等脍炙人口的经典名句，淋漓尽致地展现了群聚而居的亲情生活。这些温馨场景的背后却隐含着长者权威对家庭生产资料和财富分配权的绝对控制，这也是过去数千年中家庭代际更迭和内部成员互惠利他行为得以维系的根本原因。然而，随着计划生育、市场化改革和城市化建设的全面推进，人们的生产、生活方式以及道德习俗发生了翻天覆地的变化。首先是家庭结构，从儿孙膝前萦绕的金字塔型变成了子孙门罗可雀的倒金字塔型。然后是居住方式，从激发同情心的共室而居变成了疏远情感的分散而居。其后是亲子关系，从驾驭和臣服变成了基于感恩、亲情和追求平等的互利互惠。但要特别关注的是，当一个家庭同时出现生育数量不够和生育质量不高的问题，养老资源的充裕性和多样性就很难得到保证。只有调动政府、社区和市场的参与积极性，努力构建综合家庭养老保障体系，才能从物质和精神层面为老年人创造舒适而富足的晚年生活。
