Transformações Recentes da Economia Capitalista: Impactos sobre o Mundo do Trabalho nos EUA

Recent Changes in the US Labor Market

Daví Antunes

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: This paper discusses the transformations of the capitalist economy in the last forty years, in order to present the origins of the changes of great depth that occurred in the US labor market in the same period. With this introduction, and unlike the traditional analyzes on the subject, emphasis will be placed on technological changes and their impacts on labor in the main sectors of the economy, in order to show the polarization of the labor market and the provision of services in the present day.
