MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between the infrastructure spending and the economic growth in Algeria using results from the endogenous growth theory, specifically the BARRO model (1990). The novelty of this work lies on using VAR models, with the objective of deducing the effects leading to changes in the infrastructure spending on growth as well as the causality links between capital stock, infrastructure and labor.
