Tracking Windows of Opportunity along the Industry Development Trajectory
Marta Najda-Janoszka
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
Opportunity stands for a central category for entrepreneurship research. Entrepreneurial identity is defined with the core reference to opportunity. Meanwhile extant studies highlight important challenges when it comes to discuss the very nature of opportunity. A promising approach to reconcile discovery and creation perspectives is to embrace the notion of time. Thus the aim of this conceptual article is to contribute to existing body of knowledge by providing a dynamic perspective for understanding and investigating entrepreneurial opportunities.
