El valor del agua en el río: ¿cuánto, cómo y por qué?
Instream value of water: How much, how and why?
Jorge Bielsa
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
This paper shows and analyses the concept of instream value of water. New concepts both on water accounting and management show up by building an appropriate framework to deal with these instream uses. More precisely, real or net consumption definition highlight the fact that there is no such a thing as non-consumptive uses. Moreover, competition between users in and off-stream appears clearly and rises the need for new kinds of collective water management.
