Abstract:
We have investigated probablity of debt rescheduling for Pakistan using qualitative response model. The study employ two types of indicators: Economic (financial ratios) and political to assess whether financial ratio or political factors or both affects country’s ability to meet the debt obligation and its prospects for debt rescheduling. The results show that financial ratios are significant determinants of debt rescheduling for Pakistan.
