Administrative aspects of the legal regulation of the rector as a body of governance of the higher school

Abstract: In the present work is made an overview of the historical traditions of the rector´s institution and examination of the legal regime of the Rector according to the actual legal regulation. The author analyses the legal position of the Rector as one of the main bodies of governance of the Higher school as well as his powers and acts from the point of view of the administrative law.
