Abstract:
Making a credit decision is limited to a reasoned agreement or refusal. The key words in making the credit analysis are "customer knowledge". The substantiation of the credit decision refers to both a quantitative analysis and a qualitative analysis of a company in order to identify the key elements that contribute to determining the company's ability to honor its debt service. Credit analysis identifies and assesses risks, recommends ways to minimize them, analyzes the economic and financial situation and calculates financial indicators describing the company's performance, its ability to repay the loan and to pay interest on the lending period. Lending is subjective, but the credit proposal / decision must be based on objective information about knowing the firm, its business and its management, through good information. In fact, information is the most important tool in making a good credit analysis.
