Abstract: Резюме: В статията се обосновава потребността от преосмисляне модела за оп-ределяне на минималната работна заплата и минималния осигурителен доход. С оглед постигане целта на изследването се извършва ретроспекция в развитието на понятията и взаимовръзката им с принципа на социалния диалог и колективното трудово договаря-не. В заключение се обосновава необходимостта от преминаване от административен модел към социален диалог.
