The devotional dimension in tnterest-oriented Shariah rulings

Abstract: This research seeks to reveal the worshiping dimension in all Shariah rules interests, whether they are rituals or rules relating to the other aspects of Islamic laws. The significance of this papers stems from the fact that it stresses on the importance of abiding by the Shariah rules even if deemed by the human intellect as difficult to observe or even in convenient in some cases. This is because in case of conflict between the human perception of public and the Shariah rules, the later must prevail. The paper attempts to treat the issue of conflict in the perception of what is a public good and explore of its relation to the modern applications of Islamic finance.
