Abstract:
The paper explores the specifics of the personal data administrator in the information society and the new European regulations. On the basis of the correlation between the digitization in the economy and the impact of the process on the labor relation, the basic obligations of the employer as data administrator are analyzed. Finally, conclusions and recommendations on the application of the regulations are made in view of the employer‘s commitments regarding the employees’ personal data.
