Working Papers from RAND Corporation

Abstract: In this technical report, we use data from the Los Angeles Family and Neighborhood Survey (L.A.FANS) to examine children’s readiness for school in Los Angeles County. We present results on several aspects of school readiness and show how they vary by geography, socioeconomic status, maternal education, and child gender, ethnicity and immigrant status.
