Abstract: 최근 한반도 정세가 급격하게 변화하는 가운데 남북관계 개선에 따른 남북교류협력과 경제협력에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으나 북한 무역제도에 대한 우리의 이해는 낮은 수준에 머물러 있다. 북한의 개혁개방과 남북경제협력 재개의 여건이 마련될 것에 대비하여 북한 무역제도의 특징과 선진화 지원방안에 대해 고민해볼 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 북한의 무역 관련 법ㆍ제도의 변천사와 실제 무역거래 관행을 살펴보고 이를 국제기준(WTO 규정체계)에 맞추어 분석함으로써 남북한 CEPA 체결을 대비한 북한 무역제도의 개선방안을 도출하였다. This study examines changes in trade-related laws and systems in North Korea and actual trade practices, and analyzes them in accordance with international standards (the WTO regulatory framework). Recently, as the situation on the Korean Peninsula changes rapidly, interest in economic cooperation has risen in hand with the improvements in inter-Korean relations. However, our understanding of the North Korean trade system remains low. In order to prepare for the reform and opening up of North Korea and the resumption of inter-Korean economic cooperation, it is necessary to consider the characteristics of the North Korean trade system and measures to support advancement.
