Abstract:
This paper briefly shows the current status of infrastructure development and infrastructure needs in the APEC region. It also summarizes the major contents of the Multi-Year Plan on Infrastructure Development and Investment (MYPIDI), approved as a part of the annexes to the APEC's 21st Leaders' Declaration. Lastly, it provides some policy implications for Korea to actively participate in APEC discussions on MYPIDI and to provide the technical assistance based on its infrastructure development experiences of using PPP.
