Productive Structure and Income Distribution: The Brazilian Case

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to assess the impacts of some of the important changes occurred within Brazilian economy in the 90s on income distribution. For that, the productive structures existing in 1992 and 2002 will be presented and compared. A series of simulation will be performed in order to establish the distributive impacts of such changes on income distribution.
