Abstract: The start-up of the international financial crisis and its generalization at the level of the developed countries’economies and its extention at global level make companies o pay higher attention to the financial management and, not the least, to the review and assessment of their financial status. Moreover, the interest in this type of reviews becomes also higher among other market players: creditors, owners, sareholders, suppliers, state agencies, rating agencies etc. From this point of view, this work on the review of the company’s liquidity becomes more important for it is a useful instrument for the companies’ financial management and for the decision-making process.
