Abstract: All around the world there is a need to continue improving the security of the Open Financial Networks in order to mitigate the threat of disruption to e-commerce operations and to facilitate sustainable economic growth. It’s important to know that a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), on which some devices are still using WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), is not optimally secured. The effort to create a standard that provides better security for the wireless networks has been long and not so smooth. The new elements of the IEEE 802.11i security standard, WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) and RSN (Robust Security Network) have as a result an increase in global commerce and better interaction between the Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) users and among net administrators. The users of an Open Financial Network help each other discussing about the current market, stocks, bonds, derivatives, mortgages, financial services, economy policy, investing techniques, bank, strategy and even more.
