Abstract:
Extensive studies have proved that some of the features of cultural system relate directly to the psychological characteristics of the members of those cultures. Cultural features exercise an impact mainly by structuring and directing the socialization (Vygotsky, 1978, Bond, 2004). Starting from this perspective Leung et al (2002) have identified five dimensions called cross-culturally (pan-culturally) applicable social axioms. Our study aimed to establish a map of social axioms at national level. The validation criteria were: socio-cultural regions, historical characteristics, demographic data, cultural indicators, traditions and myths.
