Abstract: Having in view the uniqueness of the human’s mind, psychology cannot be set apart from learning language in general and especially foreign languages. Psychology and learning blend together in creating human personality. The present paper has as purpose a short overview of the most important theories issues by both psychologists and linguists regarding learning. Learning languages sets psychological tasks that should not be overlooked by teachers.
