Abstract:
The survey “Elements of satisfaction and motivation in work at practiser psychologists and social assistants” represents the subject of the dissertation conducted by lecturer professor dr. Mihai Petru Craiovan. It took part in The General Direction of Social Assistance and Child’s Protection, district 5 which works as a public subordinated institution of Local Council, district 5 from 1997, having 467 employees for the moment. The survey had an inquiring purpose, looking for the configuration of certain variables (satisfaction and motivation) according to the practiced profession (psychologist and social assistant), but also the different effects that they would cause, and the definition of some proceeding intervention for improving these effects. We started from the next hypothesis: some dimensions of satisfaction, more exactly, some dimensions of motivation are different according to the practiced profession. The hypothesis has been partially certified. The number of subjects was of 28, (14 psychologists and 14 social assistants) from the total of 65 employees with specific attributions. We have used the method of investigation and the tools: Job descriptor index, Test of satisfaction evaluation and Test regarding human resources motivation.
