Abstract:
Today, almost all developed countries are trying to find an answer to the new challenges faced by social systems. Most of these social systems developed during periods of fundamentally different demographic, economic, social and political realities than those that characterize modernity. In those times the human lifespan was relatively small and, therefore, in a population dominated by relatively young age cohort in the population present a significant (sometimes dominant) share of the rural population, which is almost a demand for the services of the social sector. Today, against the backdrop of the trend towards intensive aging population and a corresponding increase in the proportion of elderly people in the population, as well as the pronounced trend urban situation has changed dramatically. The question of how to cope with the ever-growing social stress now and in the future is on the agenda throughout the developed world. Especially the discussion - scientific, social, political and so on - exacerbated in the transition economies of the developed world in the post-industrial stage.
