Abstract:
Using the GLOBIOM partial equilibrium model, we wanted to evaluate the possible ways of Russia's development in the framework of scenarios for the intensification or intensification of crop production until 2030 and until 2050. The advantage of this model is that, given prices and supply and demand, it is able to find a solution for a particular country, choose the most profitable crops, direct production there, and also calculate the greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural activities based on the results of calculations.
