Abstract:
In this paper we consider some properties of the various production functions. One of the key points in the construction of empirical production functions is the choice of functional form. It is important to note What assumptions and limitations associated with the use of a functional form for modeling economic reality. In some cases, these assumptions and limitations defined implicitly in the process of creating a specific production function. Summary target given in the theoretical review is just to identify and describe possible restrictions, either expressed or implied, arising from the use of different types of production functions.
