Abstract:
The most acute problem of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation at present is the resumption of depopulation of its population. Accordingly, the study is devoted to the formation of a scientific approach to the study of the factors and causes of changes in the demographic situation in Russia and the return to depopulation, as well as its socio-economic consequences in order to develop a new state policy to ensure stabilization and population growth in new demographic conditions. The results of this work can be used for scientific and methodological support of state policy to stimulate fertility, reduce morbidity and mortality, form an effective system of measures to regulate migration, develop specific directions, measures and mechanisms of state policy in the demographic sphere.
